Another Flying Day at the GAMA Flying Site - May 17 2008
Jim Parker overhauling an engine that lost compression. Worked on it for about an hour and then normal compression returned, a mystery!

Left Engine won't start!
Aircraft after it's maiden flight. Cowling was removed to facilitate repair of engine that wouldn't start. Congratulations to Charlie for a great first flight. After one flight Charlie packed it up went home to take a nap. Too much stress for one day.

Victor Bowden Solo's on 10 May 2008
Victor Bowden and his instructor Ed Stefan showed up at the field early on 10 May determined that Victor would solo that day. After a long day, Victor successfully soloed. Congratulations to Victor for getting the job done.

GAMA Picnic 26 April 2008
Our 26 April picnic and meeting was great with a good turnout. The monthly membership drawing wasn't won so it rolls over to the next meeting on 31 May for $200.00. Cory Munson as usual did a great job of cooking, Ed Stefan ran a fun event and as usual yours truly, came in dead last. Even Charlie Hayes beat me in the competition!
